Moonstrike doesn't feel bad to play atm in CN, but the stats being reduced did restrict it at the whale level can't run the Exalted Hatsune Muku anymore but that could change later on depending on how scaling goes and the gear accessible to us.

For context for anyone lurking, this was a whale build where if you had T5 Crab and T5 Muku Chief you could run this "Avatar" build where you stack all 4 stats and did insane DPS, this required T5 of both so it wasn't accessible to F2P at all nor is it a concern to the general playerbase.

How did this work? Well for starters it relied on having 80 gear, legendary module and good purple lines.

You reached enough ATK speed ( 80% ) with Purple lines on gear ( 2% ) and Modules
You reached decent amount of crit rate ( around 20% ) base then more with Muku
You reached enough Luck to rotate skills properly through gear / gems
You reached a ton of Mastery because of the T5 crab

Many people are actually saying Moonstrike feels better to play than Iaido in CN right now, so it's not exactly going to feel bad but people are calling fish "mandatory" although I'm 99% sure that's exaggerated or only applies to the hyper competitive / whales. That being said, there is a higher reliance on it in the early game.

There were alot of people on both EN and CN coping that they would be replacing crab, that didn't pan out well because Moonstrike now tends to run either Crab + Fish or Crab + SSR ( generally luo / roro > boyce ) that was a let down to some who expected to run Chief + New SSR and drop crab.

For F2P I'd still recommend T5 scout, don't worry about being "worse" early game because you should hit the thresholds again with 140 gear.

It's not that Moonstrike feels bad to play, but if you had very min-maxed stats then went into S2 where stats were thrown all over the place, rotations and loops that worked seamlessly before doesn't anymore

Culinary and alchemy are both pretty stable, they usually go up on monday and then go a bit lower as the week progresses, but no sharp jumps

it also depends which you pick, but a quick look at the market will tell you more than I ever could
