You should close the Gameforge platform (make sure you shut down the process from task manager) and double click on Metin2.exe (icon on desktop). This will re-open the Gameforge platform but this time your login credentials will work 🙂

I created everything new for my region, so I shouldn’t have any problem creating an account, yet I didn’t have that option. I tried other regions too, it didn’t work, I created another account, still no change, I used a VPN, and as you can guess, still no change. I can create and verify a Gameforge account. The problem starts with the “Metin2” library—I can’t launch the game because I don’t have an account, and when I try to create one in the client, a stupid “error” shows up. I give up, I delete everything related to it, I don’t care about them.

The Polish server has been completely taken over by bots. The server was closed to new account registrations for 2 years and there were hardly any bots at all. After reopening registration three months ago, bots are literally on every map, even on Yohara maps.

What’s the best part? They’ve started killing players. The connection to the server keeps getting dropped. We pay for “Auto-Hunt” and can’t use this option, because either 50 bots kill us on the map, or we get disconnected back to the login screen.

Every channel on the Polish server is almost constantly full.

You opened registration for new players? It’s interesting how they’re supposed to play, considering bots keep killing players every time.

Are you deliberately sabotaging the game that actually allows you to continue existing as Gameforge?

I understand that you have problems with anti-cheat, because last time it was banning innocent players. But at this point, the only solution is to close registration on the server again!

I emailed support about it, and the representative said they have evidence of using bots and that the account will be permanently closed. More than 300 accounts were banned daily without any prior warning or notification. When I contacted support, the only response I received was that I am “using programs or third-party software.”
I strongly deny this claim. As everyone knows, Metin2 has a very strong protection system that makes the use of bots or external programs practically impossible. If such tools were actually being used, they would be detected immediately by the system itself.
Additionally, I have never received any logs, evidence, or clear explanation showing how or why these bans occurred. Simply stating that I am using programs, without proof, is not fair or professional.
I am asking for real assistance, transparency, and a proper investigation into these bans. At this point, the reason behind them remains completely unknown, and unfortunately, the support team has not provided any real help so far.
I am fully willing to cooperate and provide any information needed to resolve this issue properly.

Metin2 service client is absolute trash. Users are getting banned and no evidence or proof are being showed.

When you send tickets all you get are automated responses. I’ve spent probably 20k€+ in dragon coins in less than 2
months, yet it makes sense for them that I bought “botted wons”(?). Make it make sense.

This is super shameful. I urge someone from the Metin2 team contacts me to resolve this issue asap.
