Respect! After many years I would like to look back into the mysterious world of metin2. However, an interesting circumstance prevents me from doing so. Since I can't get an answer from support after several tries and I can't figure out the nature of the problem myself, I'll ask the question here in case someone has encountered a similar problem and knows what the problem might be. So I download the Gameforge client. I register 1 user with a brand new email address. So far I'm done, I start the game, but here comes the bug. I click on "game" and next the error message: An error has occurred. If you already have an existing game ID, please add it manually. This is a brand new user so of course I have no ID. But ok the redneck kid thinks ok then I'll make one and go to "game id" then "create game id" I'll type in the game id I want here then get the error message "error occurred" no way no way get it right. (I've been getting this error message for months with several newly registered accounts and yes good language is selected in the menu.) Anyone know of any solutions to this? I have heard netlegends that some ISPs are simply "blocked" from registering.

Gameforge is the worst game publisher in the world. They blocked normal players but bots are still not banned. 24/7 bots spaming in every servers, normal players got bans for using "yang" on chat. You are sick or dumb?
And the funny thing is, my account is not banned, just my PC. I can login my account on different computer. Zero technical support of Gameforge. Sometimes we waiting ONE WEEK for answer in support system. And this answers are everytime not helpful.

This error I have gotten when I was using a VPN and forgot to disable to start the game. This error is an IP problem, just disable your VPN or change your IP and you will be good to go, to the best of my knowledge.

The other thing I am seeing is maybe you got HWID banned or something, but if that happened you must have done something fishy in game. So I sended new 'ticket' to support system of Gameforge. And your "several hours" have passed long time ago.
2 years ago they answered me in the same problem "You need to stop turn on many accounts". The problem is, I have just 5 "playable" accounts. And yesterday, I turned on JUST 2 times metin2 clients.

Bots turn on propably 100 times clients in the one day, and they don't get bans like we are.
And I'm really calm in situation then "anty bot" system just blocking normal players, but bots are having big fun.

Don't create multiple Gameforge accounts if you did that, 1 account is enough for everything. Creating multiple gameforge accounts will get you IP banned as this is also what bots do.

Not really. To simplify, for blacksmith/blessing scroll, there are just 2 possibilities for an item: "easy" or "hard" to upgrade (and maybe "super hard" today). High level items are "hard" and low level items are "easy" but there are exceptions.
