Try to use Internal IME (Game IME)

If still don't work, try to update your graphic card. Open Execute and write the command : devmgmt.msc .

If either don't work, try to re-install the game, and configure before running the game.

the issue with selecting the frequency has been present since laptops introduced mux switch with panels that have 144hz + , I've had it since 2020 when I got my gaming laptop as well, no fix to change the frequency in Gameforge Client options, the only way is to go in the folder and find metin2.cfg and switch the resolution and frequency from there, there's no fix for mux switch laptops

Please be respectfull about their work, Gm's are not paid to fix your problems. They do that as voluntaries. Please have patience. Most of the cases, if you don't receive any emails from gameforge, even with the emails of gameforge added to secure list, it's a provider problem wich you must contact it in order to receive those email's.

In case of your friend, tell him to don't insist answering in ticket, since that will put him to be seen in last.

That's why they really advice to don't answer to same ticket, cause they can take longer to answer..

I would recomend you averade damage, cause you will hit monsters mostly with hits and not with skills, skill are mostly a suplement to help killing monsters , where the hits are the principal factor.

At least to kill fast, probably I can recomend you skill damage, when you for pvp, or depending of your game style, when you solo boss per example, you can go with skill damage since the skill will hit more a single target than 5 normal hits.

With time you will adapt the way you play for the best @potent marsh I don't doubt!

If you check on the window that opened when you pressed "J" , you will understand how the system works , About the drops, only some of those "especial monsters" drop something good, like Jin-Hee, if you kill 30 I think you can have the wedding alliance, I think it's a mission from old woman in village 1

Beside those "special mobs" are included in some quests as well

When you complete a task of that mob, you are able to teleport or another stuff if you check the window (pressing J )

I don't have 100% sure, why that error happen, but it happened to me, by playing in my account in a house of a friend , and my friend also got blocked from gameforge to play, in the exact same night . I sent a ticket and all was solved between 2 days

Try to repply in that ticket, and say that your friends are playing in same house as yours, refer the id's (in ticket ) that are playing in same internet , and ask them how is going the case and how long it can take to be solved, I think it's the best you can do for now

I had same problem cause I went to a friend house to play metin with them , and we got all that issue, i sent ticket with all details and my problem was solved 2 days after, without sending any documentation, since that's personal information.

I just sent once my personal information via ticket due to a huge payment that I did when I was in Germany .

They perceived this as a problem and asked me to add her email to my ticket account.

Probably, they think that you are sharing accounts, and that continue to happen, you should relate all of that via ticket.

And do everything they told you, in order to solve your problem faster, so you can play metin2

relate all this via ticket, I believe that your problem will be solved faster, they need time to work, once they answer once your ticket, you must know that isn't only your problem in process, they have more tickets to handle

same thing if you work to a company, and you receive a complain, you are taking care of it, will you put all others waiting until you solve it? what others will do? complain more? because they waiting for too long?

that will not solve nothing , i'm just expressing my opinion as a player as well .

Like I told early it happen same thing to me, and I sent ticket explaining everything and I waited until problem was fixed. In the end I just appreciated their work and wished a good work for the future 😛

1. Open "run/executer" from start menu.

2. Search msconfig.exe

3. Click "Services" tab.

4. Find "Gameforge Client Services" and put a tick on it.

5. Apply and restart your pc

I did exactly what you said, gameforge client could not be installed, it says it is damaged.

Try to remove uninstall the gameforge, or remove all folders to trash permanently , and install it again to check if you have the same issue

Also check your anti-virus and firewall if they are allowing the program to be installed.

I do not connect remotely , I'm just a normal player and person sharing knowledge in order to help other persons with their problems.

check your fire wall , if not working try to delete all folders and uninstall everything , check if you have space in disk , try to install it again

(I've a computer with windows XP home edittion from 2000's, that runs metin2 ) So i doubt that using windows 7 get you in problems @ivory orbit
