It started when my Bluetooth transmitter lost sound on my right ear and my iems getting white noise, I cleaned it with alcohol q-tip and worked til it came back within a week but has gotten worse and for some reason I found out when I press my iPod classic on certain parts I lose sound coming from my left ear, is there a reason why that’s happening? Been thinking of replacing my headphone jack but I don’t wanna damage my shell

I wonder if it could be a kinked cable or a wonky connection?
Because here is exactly where the headphone jack connector is
What's inside the iPod by any chance? i.e. drive and/or battery
An quad iflash mod and a 3000mah battery
thin or thick case?
Thin
Not really since I couldn’t find what to put in between, that was a year ago

Shit sorry for not replying, I kinda uh forgot
What I was gonna say was uhhhhh
I do wonder if that's possibly the culprit
Something pinching against the hold switch ribbon
But then again that also means you have to crack the thing open
Thanks for the answer, I wish that wasn’t the case but that means I’ll have to order a new shell and replacement from elite obsolete hopefully it arrives soon before I go on a long trip.
Looked inside and your right the ribbon is pretty folded, got it replaced and made sure it goes smoothly inside
Holy fuck I was not expecting that
