#Is there any way to load music to iPod Classic directly from external hard drive?

I don’t have the space on my macbook to import all my music to Music, so how do I do this? Can’t be chunk by chunk, right?

I think you can just drag it in with Finder

Importing music to Music doesn’t necessarily mean duplicating the files. You can set Music’s Preferences/Settings to NOT “copy files when importing”. Then you can import your music from an external drive. That will just make pointers to the files without duplicating them to your internal drive. Then you can sync to the iPod. (iPod and external drive will both have to be connected simultaneously, ofc)
