Im back but I will explain a bit. So my iPod's select button doesn't really respond unless I apply some pressure on it. when I was watching videos, people were clicking on the select button. Does that mean I have to replace or at least, reseat my select button or are there any other solutions?

Well to fix it you need to get inside anyway

I’m pretty sure the small piece of hard foam on the physical button has either disintegrated, lost it’s hardness, or fallen off.

I’m not saying that’s 100% the issue it just can cause the button to be all mushy and weird like that
