ipod 5th gen still not syncing

ive replaced the drive with an iflash, put it in diagnostics mode and it senses the sd and says the storage, but it wont sync to my pc, at all. the beattery i put in it works, everything ive modded in seems to work, apart from the ipod itself

could just be sandisk cards being weird

its just the ipod has recognised the card

but wont sync

it recognises its 128gig or 119 whatever it is
