click wheel center button wont click

it works but doesnt click down or make any noise, thought it was the black thing it didn work and now i ended up with this, plz help me fix it btw i put the black thing somewhere else

Place the black dot on the center of that yellow plastic bit, then center it on the click wheel. Secure with some scotch tape across a bit of the ring to the left and right of it, and test it out. Same problem I had

i was able to get the play button yellow plastic bit on the center but i cant get the og one from the center to click in any position maybe new tape?

Mines fully sealed up at the moment, but did you layer the black button over the center of the yellow plastic bit?

Effectively, one piece of scotch tape to secure it all into place so like

Longer strip of tape
⬇️
Button with yellow piece, centered

The idea is to have tape sticking it both sides of that silver ring, so not too long but not too short of a tape piece
