my 7th gen that i got today was working fine for the most part, it crashed syncing half of my music and i had to restore it several times, tried fully wiping the drive through windows and that helped, but now it freezes my pc when i try to connect it, im guessing the hard drive is dying? also this is what the hard drive health is, which i have found out is very not good!
yeah no, this ipod drive is gone, it straight up blue screened my pc when i unplugged it

windows freezing is because windows is trying to talk to the drive but the drive either isn't sending coherent information back or just isn't sending any information back. you'll need to replace the drive with either another drive or a flashmod
never actually seen one bluescreen a computer before though, that's kinda funny

Yeah i was mid convorsation with my friend and i ynplugged it and my pc just died lmao
Im gonna just buy a new 160gb drive for a 7th gen cause its cheaper then flash modding it thankfully the ipod has been opened in the past meaning it should be easier to open

That also explains why my 4th acts a really simmilar way and can only get about 500 songs onto it
