Not really, only sound made is when I power it on

The iPod shell was warm when plugged into pc. Could that be a reason for it to become corrupt?

@split helm for 3 days I would just plug the cable in and out on a loop and then I just left it plugged in cuz I was playing on my phone and it unfroze after a good 5-20 minutes
