For the most part it's when you're losing too much

Because you're not levelling early, your early game boards will be weaker than most players

So you'll be losing hp

But when you start rolling at around 3-1 or 3-2, you will be hitting 2* units while other people are saving their gold for levelups

So once you start losing again, that's when you want to cash out and roll to around 20 gold
