If I click this "stool order" It will be sent directly into my void of an unsearchable quest list. I will never find this quest, I didn't even want this quest probably. It would be nice if we could click it and see what they want before deciding if we want to take it.

Firstly, not really unsearchable since the list is by zone, and the zones are in alphabetical order.
Secondly, if you don't want it, you can just delete the quest.

#

But, yes, having a 'view quest' and 'accept quest' buttons would be helpful.

There's no limit to regular favors, so there's really not much reason to refuse. But I suppose it would be convenient if for some reason you did want to refuse.

Come to think of it, it might be nice for Pennoc and Lakrea, sometimes I just don't want to do one of theirs.

Not really, it would just have to treat it like abandoning the quest and activate the one-hour cooldown on accepting one.

#

Functionally it would be just like taking and immediately abandoning the quest.

Which would be the same as it was before with those then. A bit complicated to get different quests treated differently.

Hmm, pennoc and similar might be tricky, and you certainly don't want people able to just cycle through their quests. With that difficulty in mind, it's probably better if players just get used to deleting the quests they dont want.

I think the pennoc/lakrea experience would feel more fluid if they told you what they wanted you to do and then you could either accept or skip the quest, where skipping puts it on the regular cd

#

would save you several button presses and navigating a particularly clunky/buggy menu

But those quests would be have then just as they do now. And thus be different from all other quests.

#

I mean, do save a button click, it would be a new category of quests basically, in terms of programming

#

But the ideas are here for devs to see them to take them how it fits into their system.

it would fit into a theoretically restructured favor ui like vanadin seems to be suggesting, where when you want to accept a favor you first click on the favor, and then get a description of what the person wants, and are then able to accept/reject the favor. (with the main benefit being able to avoid cluttering your quest log)

wrt pennnoc/lakrea rejecting would ideally start the timer for accepting a new quest for qol reasons, but other than that would behave the way other quests would under this system
