It would love to see people turn into regular cats, and even fight as them. Definitely would be funny and fun to play.
There would be two forms: One for short hair (think tabby) and one with long hair (think Norwegian forest cat).
The ui doesn’t support this yet, but additional colors would be unlockable, and can be selected in the character ui as the color you want your fur color to be.

Cats could have a unique accessory that has a slot for a special unique gem. The item would be a cat collar that has a special gem hanging in the front and center.
These gems would be magically attuned for each type of magic.
As a bonus, and possible meme, a new type of magic (or old) could be simultaneously be released called “Chaos Magic”.
They could also have a sub version of the unarmed skill line, redesigned for claws and feet.
