I was attempting to pull the only sword mod: "Chance to Ignore Stuns..." (which I had to use Great Phlog to obtain via Transmutation)
Note the lvl 1 Sword requirement
Right-Click only shows 1 extract option, the lvl 90 that uses Large Ornaments (I have all recipes from 0-120).
I chose the correct gem, Carnelian.
Item exploded.

Either the context menu is not showing all of the correct 'Extract' options or there is an extracting bug.

Context menu was not showing all of the correct extract options, which is odd because I thought they fixed that some time ago. I haven't had an issue like that in awhile. You should have had the augmentation 0-30 neck extract available (along with 61-90 for the shield and generic). You cut it off, but it was probably requiring shoddy phlog to roll off of the sword/stun mod (what you used to roll into it is immaterial)? Should be easily reproduceable.
its not a bug..it is showing level 90 because it also has level 90 mods on it
this is what caused me to fuck up someone elses mods..you have to manually do it not via right click
Thanks. It was Shoddy Phlog to transmute it further. I just tried with another necklace that had 2 sword mods. It showed lvl 30-100 in Transmutation > Enchantments and the item had a lvl 30 Sword Req. I used the lvl 0-30 recipe (small ornaments) and... it exploded again! Frustrating. Right-click still only showed the lvl 90 Extract option.
Then the right-click needs to be fixed or removed.
I have 2 more necklaces to experiment with.. I'll transmute and post here 'before' extracting... in a few min, hopefully.
That mod is a Lv1 mod.

The right-click menu is deceptive; you HAVE to use the Lv1 extraction.

Supposedly that mod comes only in Lv1 variations, but...
I did not know that you could manually choose the 0-30 recipe and have the necklace actually work... my knowledge is old. If that broke it, then lol go have fun in goblin dungeon and crypt?
Heh.. I'm regretting that this was the last sword mod I need for my 'main' piece.. but that's not a bad idea, in the meantime.. thx.
... The 25% variant is not the 30%. I wonder if the 25% variant is bugged.
There is no +30% mod for this piece. I originally proc'd this mod on a 95 necklace... it was still +25%

Ok... I tried again with the 31-60 recipe.. got a diff error msg, but it didn't explode. ??
Trying the 0-30 on that same necklace.... annnnd.. Success! What is going on here? Something is wrong at multiple levels.. stuff not extracting correctly and menus not displaying correctly.. etc.

It should have worked. I'm thinking you might have clicked too fast and did something wrong. If there indeed was the stun resist mod on the necklace and you indeed used the 0-30 extraction recipe, it should have worked without fail. I did it so many times in the past months since I made and remade so many sword builds.
tldr: it's not a bug, more like a system with an unfinished interface. Should have something similare to the transmutation interface that lets you click on the mod you wish to extract, then brings you to the right recipe or something like that
Thx for the insight. It would be ideal if the mod you wanted to extract took you to the exact recipe you need. Instead of Right-click > multiples of Extract a Power, you would/should get: Right-click > Extract 'x' power/mod > direct to appropriate recipe.. All other recipes give an error instead of exploding the item.
