I don't really think Skyblock is my type of game, even if I've spent like 600 hours in it, but most of my criticisms honestly come from a place of love, I really like the game even though by all means I get constantly frustrated by it, you say it is open ended, but many guides, paths and such are quite linear with barely any options per skill, you just follow from point a to point b, and I wish it could give you more options, more balanced weapons, different paths to take that all can lead to positive outcomes, the game doesn't let you experiment much and I don't like that.
