Additional steps - watch where you can go to only one fight and second node is non-battle one. Go to such path where minimal battle possible.

You are unlucky - there's no safe battles, so you should restart, if you see that.

In IS as you play more and more you realize certain nodes are more valuable than the rest

so you prioritise those

if you have lots of vouchers conserved with hope, PF is very powerful node for you to go

Wonderland is the best node in IS6, but you don't have to take it everytime. Depending on what ur doing F3 Wonderland is skippable

F5 is also skippable if ur very powerful and want to route to pathfinder instead or smth

Aside from these you mostly take combat related nodes/face off

Lost and Found is kinda weak unless you get a collectible that really benefits from getting exchanged

Encounter nodes can be very good or mid or just straight up dogwater encounter, the value isn't set so I personally usually avoid them as well unless after rhe encounter the route is very good or I am forced to take them

tho IS6 encounters are still better than older IS, you'll just learn as you play on how to route and use your coupons on vertical travel when its favourable
