the generally simplest way (that doesn't require particular relics) is to stall the boss at the top of his loop
the easiest ways to do that are Tragodia S2 (which also helps with damage) and Raidian S1 (which you'll probably usually have if you want an easy time at IS6)
both benefit from summon -redeploy relics/coins
at lower difficulties, it's viable to nuke both his phases, as Fuka says -- Exu (S2/S3) is decent at this while being very strong en route to the boss, but your account may have other techniques to accomplish this
be warned that at mid/high difficulties this strat is usually offensive relic-dependent

at low/mid difficulties, you can tank the summons with good placement IF you have defensive relics/coins (HP relics can help a lot here)
Shu being so bulky while offering healing/sanctuary is an example of a tank for this strat
if you stall the boss, you don't have to worry about clones
