This is my braindead strat to beat it, but when in doubt, borrow a lappalter with s3. The top 2 tiles in the middle row are safe spots. I put thorns facing right to build his skill. Place lappalter in the bottom left tile (also another safe spot) and spam her skill. Use Ines S2 to chip the left statue and with Lappalter skill it should kill it to open the left side of the map for you

timings might be off if you don't have a flagbearer tho

you can do s3 if you want the little laterano ammo synergy, it also has better uptime than s2, but you know s3 has its own conditions and limitations

If you want to kill, just deploy someone on the dream tile and camp the bottom-right red box

If you want to bait, then just bring plenty of Medics and a good Defender

Draw all the Snipers' fire toward this Defender

And have your Medics heal him/her up

i understand what you mean by substituting 4 star units, before i rerolled for exusiai alter i was using a account that was like, 3 stars + mountain, because i was waiting for the exusiai banner (that went HORRIBLY wrong) so i didn't roll on anything. Doing the story on that account up to chapter four was a completely different game from doing it with exu alter
