Here is my final piece about the matter: general AFK operators have low ceiling like how cake told you here #strategy message this means there are scenarios where their dps cant even reach what is needed to clear the stage, that is why Kyo sometimes go with "Semi-AFK" because he himself knows that not all stages are solvable with general AFK units, UNLESS you are using meta ops themselves for the said AFK strat, which defeats the entire premise for this question/argument since you are running meta ops anyway. On the fundamental level it's about the numbers, and from the numbers standpoint, your take about Thorns > Wis, and Wis S1 > Wis S3 #strategy message is wrong because the numbers are clearly lower. Now about this Babel strat here #strategy message if you failed to do it with Wis+Logos Low-End, then just add more broken meta units and you dont have to worry about timings. Your argument about general AFK ops is that you dont have to think about the stage just by deploying 8x 6 Star, but remember you can achieve similar result with only 2x meta ops if you have the skill, and even if you have skill issue, deploying 4x or 6x meta ops will give you stability from bigger numbers and they still require fewer slots than what those general AFK ops (again, UNLESS you are running meta ops for AFK which defeats the entire premise of this question since you are running meta anyway).

3 operators that directly counter Damazti mechanics are:

1. Eyjaberry because Damazti does mainly Corrossion damage, which reduces your operator's Defense until it hits 0, at which point he/she will take massive physical damage and die.
2. Ulpianus because his Defense is 0 to begin with but he has massive HP pool, meaning Damazti primary mechanic, the Corrossion does nothing to him. Even better if you bring Gladiia to support him.
3. Shu because she has decently high Def (700ish), she burst heals, and she gives Damage Reduction through her sowed tiles, that little bit of DR ensures that your ops will still have a bit of toughness even with 0 Defense.

JT8-3 basically you need to survive ignition, the crossfire explosion, and the fireballs. There are 2 techniques to counter them:

1. The FRDs technique like this #strategy message. Basically you bait the ignitions with 2 FRDs every 20 secs (Talulah's cooldown is 19 secs), and then retreat. No ignited operators = no crossfire explosion. The fireballs damage can also be shared with your FRDs later.
2. The constant healing technique like this #strategy message and this #strategy message. Basically you use Nightingale's RES buff to survive ignition, crossfire explosion, and fireballs.
