Yes, ontop of enemies leaking as i cant deal enough damage to hold them back, casters have a lot of hp and constantly cripple one of the lanes, i can deploy mlynar and take one out early but thats it, the other lane remains crippled and i get overrun regardless

Good placement counters the assassin gimmick as well as a good chunk of other gimmicks.

Bad placements gets you tenderized by an assassin.

It's less about the class, you're still going to want the fundamentals of damage output, tanking , and healing, and more about the execution of your company to work with the stage gimmick.

This is the position of operators and the chains in kyo's clear. Cuora (skill active) and 2 medics should be able to tank assassin. It might be possible to use mountain on the left side, but the lancers hit pretty hard. Orange circle is mlynar placement, then activate his skill when assassin is blocked by cuora.

Also for the medal you want to place someone left of the sniper so the assassin gets hit by the chain. I think kyo uses gravel.

Gravel him first to tank the first hit

Gravel will die

Then quickly deploy your Beagle or whatever, on the same tile

The Assassin only hit hard on his first attack after losing Invisibility

So if you bait the first attack with someone

Gravel or whatever

And then block using Defender right after

The Defender will not take that much damage

Beagle works in this case
