and other times you reach it 7 times

the times where you only reach it 4 times means pity had less of an impact, but at the same time you were getting luckier
the times where you reach it maybe 7 or more times means pity had more of an impact, but at the same time you were getting unluckier

it averages out to a number higher than the ideal cause unless you're pulling infinitely, sometimes you just run out of pulls when you're on a bad pity cycle and have, say, 40 pulls built up, which isn't enough to trigger the next round of pity

Oversimplified - when something goes code line by line - it is thread. And multi thread is when several threads doing something about same code. Like you could make 1000 threads (assuming CPU/RAM won't die as each demand their own utilization) to do 100 users doing 10k pulls each and then somehow sum up results for times faster execution of overall math

Internet says Matlab has "parfor" for multithread execution of for-loops. I don't know specifics of setting it up. But it could in theory speed up future attempts (i would recommend trying on lesser size and time measuring with tic toc stuff to see if it wins in time)
