waai fu - atk debuff with s1, silence with s2. interesting utility for a fast redeploy
wild mane - hilarious option if you want a trash killer, good synergy on teams with lots of guards. huge aspd with s1, push with s2
kafka - definitely more for fun than anything else. 5sec sleep with s1, arts damage on a funky range with s2
robin - bind with s1, push with s2. needs more active attention than most ops and some dp support on account of being a trapmaster, but you get in return some on-demand damage/crowd control wherever you want
tin man - does a little of just about everything. role compression is important in is, and hes necessary to maximize your thought capacity in is5

i know 4 of these are specialists. thats the point

Hung s2 has 18/20sp (defense recov so just need to get hit 2x) meaning it's like one of the best helidrop heal. He also boost defense so he tank phys elites really well

hi guys. what is this 5* talk. from most recommended to least recommended

krooster, tequilla, tin man, cantabile, rockrock, erato, firewatch, quercus, santalla, bibeak, valarqvin, astgenne/leizi, bison/criossant, aurora

characters with some value to a normal account:
krooster - overall decent AA marksman and arguably the best in her class. has uses in is3
tequilla - mylnar but half the damage. has uses as base slave
tin man - mainly for his IS5 talent. has niche uses with his s1. s2 is used in is5 till you can get a full squad
canta - 2nd best agent. arguably the 2nd best vanguard
rockrock - really good arts dps for a 5*
quercus - s1 acts as a healer in IS if you get shit luck and only get supporter tickets

characters i find perform pretty well:
erato - absolutely shits on is3 ed1 and ed2 bosses especially with sp buffs
santalla - with good positioning, she can perma freeze enemies on a tile for 15 seconds on skill. i just like her
firewatch - has insane uptime on s1 and really good damage on hit. targetting lower def enemies usually means she targets ranged enemies/enemies that dont attack, meaning she gets her talent multiplier
bibeak - her s1 literally has the same damage multipliers as pallas also her s2 is very spammable and has a stun
valarqvin - it's rather rare for lower rarities to get what ammounts to basically true damage as of right now. all in all her damage is fine for a 5*. also she's fun in is4.
astgenne/leizi - are chain casters and they generally perform pretty well for multitarget needs (nothing like 6* ofcourse but still)
bison/criossant - are 5* tanks. their main downfall is that they do less than 6* and are more expensive than 4*. still pretty decent tanks
aurora - has really good damage for a 5*. it's just up to you to unlock it
