It's flawed, it's a design flaw imo. IS3 jellyfish got the super big range that massively reduces your operators' aspd, we had to outrange it back in the days. IS4 got ICI cant even compare. IS2 Phantom got big dodge, and if you wanna remove his dodge you have to block him, and if you block him he dash at you. Not to mention we had to take his Nervous Impairment like a champ back then, it was challenging.

Not much of a "good setup" can be done with this, you have barely anything built. My suggestion is for you to draft Lappland and keep borrowing Wisadel as Support Unit to unlock stuff first. Generally for an all-purpose squad you want: 2 Vanguards, 3~4 Guards/Defenders, 3~4 Snipers/Casters, 2 Medics, and an FRD, then you adjust to taste from there.

Just play first, you barely started playing there. Use Wisadel to clear Main Stories and Side Stories, then use your Originite Prime to pull on the current JO or something, get more 4 Stars and start from there. If you get a 6 Star or two, draft them. If I tell you to build A unit and B unit, and then by tomorrow you unlock better units after pulling, this is a waste of resources. Also even if you build an all-purpose squad, it cant really be used on all stages, you must adapt as you go.

Really, just play first.

If this is your first time playing the game, start with a squad of 2 and 3 Stars plus Lappland. Raising 3 Stars will never go wrong because you will also be using them on ISes to get more resources.

You can delay your 4 and 5 Stars for now, wait and see if you get a better 6 Star version of them.

This is my alt account #strategy message and it has cleared most contents. As you can see I didnt raise anything except for the 6 Stars. Ofcourse this is an extreme example and I'm not recommending you to do this, but the idea is to not unnecessarily waste your resources on units that you will bench in the future especially on early game. You want to make good use of the little resources you have and build a solid base first, then you can raise lower priority units for IS5 and stuff.

Throw Texas for the RES shred as well while Shu is onskill, that way Texas can deal a bit of damage, and then when you retreat her, Logos S3 will insta remove her grave.

Retreat everyone when Fremont switches over to Phase 2.

Use Texas to remove Logos's grave and deploy Nymph in Logos tile.

Then deploy everyone

Make sure you always have someone to auto-bait Fremont's charged attacks, this will remove his DR.

Spearhead is really good for damage, thing is, you need to do Perfect Clears all the way to boss fight
Without shields that can be risky, but with shields it's not

Also if you get that Encounter that gives King relics, you get a full set right away coz Spearhead starts with 1 Life Point.
