the cannon should fire around the same time the boss spawns, so place civilight eterna here to bait out the shot
honestly though either e2 civilight so she can keep surtr alive for 30 seconds, or replace her with gravel for a fast re-deploy and instead use gravel to bait the cannon the square above this one instead, it has the same effect

once the boss gets to this square, place down a tank (probably saria/mudrock) as soon as surtr is able to hit him

you should be able to stall until second phase because he doesn't do that much damage, just make sure ines, myrtle, and wisadel don't get overwhelmed at the top right

put down virtuosa to help them if you need it

once the boss dies for the first time, he begins charing the cannon a lot really fast, i'd undeploy the first tank you put down so you can use gravel to bait out shots on the left side of the map until he's about to enter phase 2

once the boss is phase 2, then activate surtr/fiammetta skill, put back down a tank on the same time you retreated the last one (in front of surtr), and this tank might die depending on if harold is preoccupied with healing ines/myrtle, although he shouldn't be because of myrtle's passive vanguard healing thing, but be ready to replace the tank with another one just in case
