I used dual Ambushers (Ascalon is one of them). I chained both Ambushers creating a straight vertical chain. When the Assassins reach the chain, they would be slowed by 4 squares worth of chain. I Surtr the ones that get past the Ambushers.

Ambushers are great vs Assassins btw, because they dont block them and trigger their dash. The dash is so annoying.
