and uh bison exists (pretty sure he does go slightly higher than cuora?) and he does come with a bit of a team buff

and nian/hoshi are tankier

but well perk of being limited

Although one significant thing about cuora is that her HP is quite low (and she has 0 res) which means that relative to tanky units she is kinda squishy to arts

with module, her def without skills is about 1.2k, with skill, its about 2.3k def and can block 4 enemies, and finally self healing to heal chip damage

Hoshi's def assuming max pots, trust, and module lvl 3 and s2m3, is about 1.6k def while blocking or 1.4k def without blocking. shes better then cuora off skill, but cuora is a 4 star, you most likely have her maxed in pots, less resources on module stuff, and does her job extremely well, blocking enemies

Cuora is just a really good budget option. What's to stop you from running her with another defender to cycle too? She's just a really value for resources back up for any defender really

deploy your ranged operators straight after you deploy your vangaurds; that way its practically impossible for them to take any damage in this stage. afterwards you want to have your typhoon S3 take care of the early shielder. have all your damages point upwards and kill the boss in the upper corner. deploy surtr solo in the right side to deal damage to the boss; she can solo deal almost 50% of his health mainly because his on top of the fire spews and use ines and other units to wittle it away more; you want it to be as low as possible when it gets to top. i reccomend you borrow chalter for when his at top to take care of his fire orbs. 1 chalter ammo = 1 fire down and she can take care of more too.
if all of this works out for you come ask us again about what to do with the last shield and sword guy
