Hello again, back for the usual "Annihilations are really frustrating". Been stuck on a couple that I can't seem to clear, tried a couple times myself, gave up and tried guide clears. Does most of the work but then has a few issues based on my roster.
Abandoned Mine isn't too bad since I'm only 2 short due to 2 civilian deaths. The usual cheese is to just use a puller but I don't have any at E1 S7 and every source seems to suggest this is the minimum required. If it's possible to do it with a lower investment puller or other unit I'd love to hear, but E0 S1 both doesn't pull enough and isn't tanky enough to survive the enemies, and I really don't want to build a puller when I have just enough for E2S7 Mlynar as soon as daily reset comes. Dropping texalter isn't too consistent, or is ridiculously precise, from what I can tell, since there's 4-5 enemies that drop in range to instantly attack enemies and those attacks are enough to kill the 2 civilians I "leak".
County Hillock is fine up until Mandragora spawns, then the enemies coming from the bottom side which are also mostly invisible for whatever balancing reason spawn Mon3tr / Defender and just run to the blue box, without Thorns being able to handle them. I usually try to prep Surtr by that point to clear them out but 1 block + most of them being invis means she takes maybe 1-2 in total on B9-12 placements, does a bit better on E7 but still ends up getting overwhelmed.
Usual strat uses Cliffheart + Shaw to handle the jetpack enemies over the hole, plus push that swarm of enemies I struggle with down the hole, but for the same reasons as above it seems like a waste to spend all those resources on units I will use once, twice at the most, then bench forever, when it could go to like E2 Mlynar. I use texas s2 and texalter s3 alternating to handle them for my clears instead.
There's also Chocolate Street but that's the one I've tried the least so will wait till I've had some more goes myself on it before asking.

They use a defender further back and shaw to push the enemies but I have no built shaw to use so I have to try brute force that same wave of enemies with mon3tr + surtr
this last group of enemies is pretty much what streamrolls me
I don't notice any issues with the other trash mobs or mandragora herself, but they come down the bottom lane and thorns + mon3tr + surtr doesn't seem to manage to clear them out before they kill mon3tr
I guess thinking about it I can probably use one of the pillars, but would that not be a bit inefficient to spend 2 pillars on mandragora for only one of her shield things?

I'm going to genuinely lose my mind at this stage if I have another 350/400 clear and then a civilian dies, is there any reliable way to defend the bottom side civilians without breaking the crate?
Most guides use a puller but I don't have one invested enough and I don't currently have the resources to invest into one, and I really don't want to have to build one to use it for one stage that I'm already at 398/400 for.
Using base texas and texalter to alternate stuns on the enemies sometimes works, but it feels a bit rng as to whether the enemies get enough attacks off or not and I really don't want to commit hours to restarting the same stage because the enemies got one extra attack in on the exact civilian who would die to that attack.
Are there any defenders who have extra taunt over civilians somehow? Or any sources of passive healing that work on them to help sustain?
Or at the very least any lower rarity ways to reliably hold the bottom lane too if I just break the third crate
I wouldn't mald this hard over a stage normally but the only unit I want for the next like 6 months is Reedic and gacha has blessed me with a bagpipe pot and mlynar instead

How the fire works is...
If there is fire on one of the bush tile... It will spread to another bush tile... The only way to turn it off is to have someone sit in the fire place... and to stop the spreading you have to put something in that tile and the "+"(Plus/Adjacent) area of it
Fc-8? Dont deploy on mud tile more than 3 times
Fire will give you that Fire Elemental Damage that you get from Fake Marios in ch 9/some stages of IS-2

The main reason I choose to bring the Berry Duo is to basically "control" that amount of fire elemental damage trigger... Saria almost died few times in my run if not for NG S3(2 minutes of activation, 2 mins of CD)

Slowed, probably aspd down too? And that middle mud tile prevent her to hit ur laner on both sides. All you need is to stall eblana in that tile using whatever works

this makes her a very effective staller
you can also use true dmg sources bc eblana shield doesn't block those

Aak+Nearlter should be the most broken shit against story bosses but I don't remember someone actually use them
