Well, you can 1 to 2 rocks per stage clear. So, using 1.5, we can assume you'd get 567 rocks on average. This does not account the smaller rock items you may get as additional rewards, or, currently, the item crates that can give you more rocks.

You need 2 rocks for 1 Originium Shard and you need 2 shards for 20 originium. So, 4 rocks for 20 originium. Meaning that 567 rocks would give you around 2840 originium. Which is really not that much.
