Well on the bright side, you have some decent free op options including Texas being on the campaign mission board somewhere, as well as main story ops like Morgan most recently, and Shalem and Highmore in IS 2 and 3 respectively. There's also Lava Alter and other welfare ops available through record restoration. Kroos Alter is not available yet but she will be in the future when Invitation to Wine's restoration unlocks.
As for your current roster, there's plenty of videos showing that 4*s only are entirely viable, and Ash and Blitz have amazing placements as a stun-heavy AA sniper and helidrop stunner, respectively. Amiya also has a Guard form which opens at the last leg of Chapter 8; she makes a very good Arts Guard being a free unit (there's better, of course, but they're gacha).
