If a platform is levitating it means operators on it can block aerial enemies. Put too many operators on a platform and it sinks.

the floating ranged tiles are held up by balloons. on each section, you can only put operators equal to the amount of balloons holding that section up, otherwise it falls. operators on the floating tiles can block flying enemies (which is every enemy in the event)
