The new Buoyancy event is a quality type event. My interpretation. You can't use as many units as you'd like so you have to make up with Quality

Higher level units, for example, E2 ops will give a fair fight on some of the mobs. They have ridiculous Atk scaling

She's sometimes used in IS, but likely not your priority, even for IS specific units right now

Tequila is good for damage, but that's a bit of a newbie account thing also, you'll get good enough damage dealers, even with old units

Ling is not a very good IS pick, and the more decent to good units you have, the less value you'll get out of her

You should indeed setup a krooster for advice about your roster/baseslaves

Kroos2 is good unit to build. Especially if you're going for IS. since she has lower hope cost. But if you're already building exu1, going exu1 isn't bad
Tequila is great options. but since you have Silverash/ Sash. Sash will do, he has better utility against invincible enemies
Ling is not bad. But IS6 gives you Raidian already so just play IS6 to level your Raidian

Ch'en the Dawnstreak is an extremely strong Guard, deals Adaptive Damage meaning she deals either Physical or Arts Damage depending which would deal more when put against the enemy's DEF or RES. Her S3 also spawns a moving dragon that deals damage based on the enemy's Current HP% (first instance of something doing so).
Wang is a Trapmaster but his mines can also hit aerial enemies, can place themselves on usually undeployable tiles and are in general nukes.

s2 gives high amounts of sanctuary (but it depends on how low on hp your allies are and it's only high in range of her drone) and she had decent levels of healing during it
s3 is the make 1 ally invincible for x seconds but it can only be used 2 times per stage and it gives some sanctuary and has some decent healing
her new mod also allows it so that your operators can avoid getting 1 shot since the barrier it gives (around 1.3k) applies before they get hit. this mod can also be used as a helidrop medic of sorts
her issues are that she's generally more effort to use than needed and that she got powercrept in whatever niche she might've had 2 times in a single banner by hoshi2 and haruka. where before she might've been too much effort to use, now she doesnt even do her niche well
