@proven kelp just an input, I'd consider switching Ray's mod recommendatio from mod x lv3 to mod y lv2
while the first mod let sand beast and s3 cycle way better this is usally more of a qol and not noticeable generally. Second mod offers slightly more dmg and a way higher max dph (goes from 8.4k from first mod to like 10k dph from second mod). Also with mod lv2 you're spending less resources and it's more cost effective than pushing til lv3 from the other one

IS has good rewards

the main things you want from IS as a new player are in order:

• monthly missions (change name in each IS iteration, it's the bottom middle choice): from there you can get the e2 chips and chip catalyst (and an extra 30k lmd), main way for new players to speedrun e2 promotion (I recommend the ones from is4/5 since they don't require you to reach floor 3 but are on the likes of "use this skill x times" or "deploy this operator y times" and the count don't resent between runs)
• deep investigation: in IS2/3 the requirement is reaching floor 3, in is4/5 it's custom objective (like using skill y x times). It rewards tons of tier 4/5 mats otherwise a hassle to craft as a new player
• milestone rewards: there are really good (1M+ of lmd in each iteration just to give an idea), the main problem is that it's not really sth farmable (optimizing the runs it could take 40/50 hours to clear a single IS each iteration. The only exception is IS5, in this case you can use the blueprint squad + lamp of wishes to reroll all nodes (except the obligatory boss ones) and a run can last 15 minutes (1/4 of a normal IS run).

Whenever u toss coins (automatic ones at the start of a floor for example), if any of the coins is a flower coin u get one coupon (used to refresh shops, move vertically or retoss coins)

On toss and when in effect, can refresh 1 node when in Garden of Grotesqueries; can be upgraded in Plan (the starting tongbao)
