#Yaga reset ideas

Once you max your blessing slots out, you can keep reseting with yaga to gain 25 glory on your character, which is cool, however there is no incentive to keep resetting, no goal to strive for since you could most likely gain more than 25 glory just by playing the game normally instead of resetting and having to level up again.

So here's my idea:

After you max your blessings, each consecutive reset with yaga gives 25 glory + 2.5 x number of resets, up to a maximum of say, 50. So eventually, you could be gaining 50 glory for resets, instead of 25, which would motivate players to keep restarting.

And another idea, to give people some friendly competition, showcase the number of resets a character has had somewhere near their name, or give some other visual cue (like badges next to their name).

Some other ideas to add onto Yaga could be:

  1. Characters gaining loot bonuses based on how many resets they've done
  2. Limited soulbound equipment/rewards after reset milestones are met on a character
  3. A 10% lootboost for the next overlord fight after reset
  4. Every reset, increase crystal cap on 1 blessing by 1 (from left to right), up to a max of 5, so 40 resets would allow you to have 25 crystals on each blessing instead of 20.
  5. Gain 25% increased glory for 15 minutes after reset
  6. Every reset gives a 0.5% on death glory bonus up to a max of 50. (So say you have 10k glory and die after having reset 100 times, you'd get 15k glory)

idea based off your initial idea: 50 honor isn't going to be worth it for me because of all the T3's I will miss out on.

why not increase starting level for every reset you do?

reset 1 time: start at level 2
2 times: 3
4 times: 5
20 times: 21

you can still give us the 25 honor for "playing long enough to defeat hammurabi and honoring his sanc" or something but not break the gameplay loop for veteran players.

you could also only allow this starting once you're 8/8?

Yeah that would be much better than increasing honor gain, so at some point you just get a 25 honor bonus for defeating hammu and thats it

I think it's not reasonable for yaga to give loot boosts, because after resetting to level 1, you miss out on some t2 and t3 bosses while upgrading which are not big of a deal, if you're going for honor farming. I think there can be better ways to turn yaga into a convenient source of fame gain and making the process of farming fame easier and more fun, rather than a little buffer after reset.

I do like some ideas you brought up. Increasing starting level after reset, Growing amount of fame you get after each reset and dead fame multiplier - these really can make yaga a good fame source. Considering that soon we will probably need big amounts of honor with new game content, these features will come in handy for many people. I think it's possible of making rotmg-like dead fame bonuses/multipliers. Even though I assume devs want for their game to not be a rotmg copy, they should consider making fame easier to get when adding items with huge honor cost.

For dead fame bonuses, most obvious is rewarding players for reaching an amount of kills of a specific boss. I'm not sure how good this idea is, and probably can be implemented a more fun and interesting way of honor bonuses. But it may provoke players doing other bosses they usually ignore more, rather than grinding t3s over and over

#

This can be at least somewhat refreshing task to do in the endgame, cause there's not much to do in the late game rn

maybe like getting 100 kills for a 0.1x boost can be good, here's a quick math, hope I got it right. as an example I took 800 alive fame on a character
🟢 - Alive fame
🔴 - Amount of kill milestones (100kills of each t3 boss in each realm for example)
🔵 - 0.1x multplier
