i also think there should be a penalty when carrying one box in your inventory

You could do a looting-bag style concept. Gives 5 extra inventory slots (well, 4 since you’d need one slot to hold it). Mythic drop from wherever.

And of course allow only one in the inventory at a time, so your max is 4 more slots

maybe a rarer drop than mythical weapon, armor, etc.

If untradeable it doesn’t need to be that rare tbh. If tradeable, yes absolutely.
