I don’t think Samurai needs a revert, I think it’s at a comfortable spot besides it’s HP now
8 defence amulet or none I feel the same flashiness by each hit and would love slightly more Hp for a class that uses heavy Armor
Currently not every boss is designed well for both ranged and melee in mind - Any boss with a shotgun attack which happens to be very many is not worth it for most Samurai players currently
its outclassed by shaolin and nomad, it was gutted so badly 😭
-40 stat
the hp is pretty good to me since u have 2 ability that have invul
all classes got a def nerf
samurai lost like 16-17 dex i think in preparation for the new blessings
with the right blessing set up u can spam boots and weapon ability to negate incoming dmg
Too bad this isn’t a fun way to play the class at least for me when it’s supposed to be a faster hack and slash DPS class
Only weapon cd is usually worth running in my opinion over including monkey cuz other forms of comfort fit much better usually

Samurai would be fine off right now is defence meant anything
14 to 16 is no extra damage reduction really or even 14 to 18
thats true, its a huge diff from when i used to have 33 def to now
If the actual bonus was more meaningful for higher defence, the fact the class gets killed instantly on most bosses or that the disparity between 14 to 18 defence is so meaningless, it might help fix it the class a bit
Love how you use Armor for every other stat besides defence right now lol
Like realistically going from 4 defence to jade at 18 and you’re still gonna feel like you’re taking the same damage rn
thats the reason im using hp ammy instead of def, hp ammy also has good benefit like procing panda, more hp to tank true dmg from lava, dragon breath, etc

i dont think the def is a problem rn
But it would be way more meaningful if defence itself was meaningful in the first place, so that defensive heavy Armor meant more for heavy Armor classes versus robes being for substats
As I said, disparity between having 10 def and 20 means nothing right now.

idk man, rn smurai is just "ok dmg with lot enemies, squishy and no dmg at all" for the most katanas or even the Mythic katana that this game doesnt even have a bottom to insta change weapons is just bad at all single target u have to almost die to do normal dmg not worth anymore
you want to add hp on top of dps and being tanky? add more hp on the shinobi then its at 528 and has paper for armor
Shinobi is the one with kunai and range right
The idea is typically ranged classes get even less
And yeah idk what Samurai needs for it but a lot of people have moved off of Samurai entirely recently and don't find it worth much over Shaolin for example right now
rare kunai range is pretty short for me, its like the same range as staff, idk if its just that weapon specifically tho
