Why would I ever play in this realm? There is no benefit. The other two realms drop 4 and 4.

This is referring to the desert map, which only has one available dropping mythic right now (Kimono)
The aforementioned ones that drop both 4 and 4 mythics are the snow area (sword, daggers, katana, staff) and the fire/jungle map (tekkos, kunais, bongos, shuriken). Please let me know if there are more.

huh ... in desert you can get the cage trap from wapo , the canon from the pirate guy , the kimono from the fox , a sword from the lizard boss and I think an armor from the big worm

yea its not about the rares, its about the horrible to traverse layout + 3 worst enemy types in the game all in the middle + the only mythic being maybe the least desired one.
