so i tried all the method and still i cant switch ammo type in my gun like what this option called? so i can rebind it

dig into the controls for keyboard and mouse ... should be a dedicated key. Also you have to have your weapon wheel out and hover over the weapon, or click the change ammo type till you get the one you want.

and how do I know if I have a ammo that fits in it? will it be whiter or just as gray?

the ammo you switch will only be the ammo available for that gun.... like how different type of arrows can only be used with the bow.
