I have an character made and its level 8 but I bought gold and used some of it. But I want to actually start over since I was a real newbie when joining multiplayer but I played the solo career fully now and allmost finished it a 2nd time with more knowledge about the game..

If I delete my character, do I get my bought gold returned or is it lost?

the current gold you have would be carried over but the ones you invested will not. But why would you wanna start over when you are level 8?

well tbh, the rdo has been like that for newcomers. I would suggest reading tips and suggestions on how to get started on rdo since you haven't missed any major thing since you are level 8. But anyways it's your choice and decision to start over Howdy

yes but you can change the appearance again but for that also you would need to spend 10 golds or if you have a coupon provided by rockstar then you can change your appearance for free (one time only offer)

well there are different channels here for different roles like bounties, traders etc. plus voice chat is also there if you wanna group up with someone and play

I dont have an headset of mic and most of my time i play.. my daughter is asleep in the next room and my wife in the other.. so voicechatting is a bit hard.

if you are playing with your keyboard and mouse then press L-> online options -> change appearance.

If on controller then press left button on dpad and then the same process on menu.
