Are there any tricks to get them to spawn? Im patroling their locations in one session after the other, still not finding it.

Im going insane xD i just want the midnight paw for the outfit. I wish every legendary animal would just have its own mission, that would make things so much better.

Possible you've killed/sampled other coyote recently and it's on cooldown (72 hours).

Does the Mission one count?

From my experience I seem to get the cooldown from those missions. But then some people claim they don't. Tho possible they base it on running into animals spawned by other players.

no - mission ones aren't supposed to count (based off the in-game code). mission cooldown timers are separate from their free roam counterparts. like fact said, some people do report getting the cool down, but you aren't supposed to and it's rare to glitch that way.
