Hey guys, what's the best place to hunt for trader activities? Is it Big Valley? I heard that there are 3 regions of Big Valley. How do I ensure that my camp is in the right region? Also, sometimes my camp randomly moves to other areas (for e.g. New Austin) How do I prevent this? Thanks in advance.

It's best to get naturalist and farm legendary animals.

Bayou is a good location outside St. Denis for the gators and occassional bears. Also nice if you end up spawning the legendary Panther.

Big valley you will get plenty elk, deer and bucks. There's a chart on Reddit that tells which 3* animal fills Cripps the highest. Some surprises there.

As to the camp, when setting it down, you need to choose a specific part of the map which is a subregion. Within that subregion the camp will move around randomly. But will remain in that region until you go back into the camp and properties menu

Probably right outside of black water, lot of high value. Bison, pronghorn and deer. Best option if you don’t have naturalist role.

There are way too many animals, plus if you have the hunting wagon it’s peak.
