If you use express ammo in favour of regular ammo, dont buy any of the ammo pouch pamphlets, since they only affect regular ammo

Personally, i think the explosive ammo pamphlets are worth it, but it ultimately depends on how you use it

i'd say horse insurance worth, specialy early game when you got only 1 horse with high lvl bonding, if your horse die won't respawn till you revive it at stabble without

Making the second ammo for varmint requires expensive and PITA ingradiants which makes it painful to make. Better just buy the ammo

I figured out what he was trying to say. Buy multiple saddles for multiple horses so that when one dies, instead of waiting for your main horse to revive, you can just call in another one

I have no idea how it correlates with insurance though

imo buy whetever you want, money can be easily attained now esp with the map glitch so its always make backable
