My entire HP laptop keeps freezing after running BeamNG drive for only a few minutes, VR mode or not

So even though this HP laptop has integrated Radeon graphics, I pushed the crap out of it to run this game in VR. It ran okayish surprisingly. But now every time I first launch this game, just a few minutes after launching, the game freezes my entire laptop. I've installed the latest Windows updates and the graphics drivers, ran recovery commands on Command Prompt, such as sfc /scannow, reinstalled Steam, to no avail so far. Maybe I was stupid to even attempt to run PCVR on an integrated graphics card laptop? IDK. But what other troubleshooting steps should I try?

BeamNG is a pretty intensive game. It's probably just using so much of your system resources that Windows can't run properly

Not much you can do about it

Try installing Linux if it's out of warranty. That should make it do it less often. Also integrated graphics is not the best thing to run pcvr on especially performance intensive games.
You could also try to overclock it but it might shorten its life. O and also try installing some extra RAM and see if that helps!

You might also wanna lower down the graphics quality for better performance.

Linux is way liter than win and runs a lot if not all games 5~20% faster

And a lot of older PCs that run outdated win can easily run Linux.

2. Most games actually run a bit slower compared to Windows due to the extra translation needing to be done
3. VR still isn't that great on Linux
