hey I'm getting a valve index for Christmas theres one issue, i dont have the jack port

so theres a part of setting up a valve index a physical setup and a digital setup. physical settup is what im having a problem with theres a jackport that needs to be inserted to that thing.

Search up a tutorial on how to remove the headset of the index and after u do that put on your pc headset since that is the only way to use the audio thing in the index pretty sure

That plug in the picture circled is the external power brick for the headset

You do need one for the headset to power on

Otherwise it’s essentially useless.

Just make sure if your buying used it comes with it unless your buying a new index then you don’t need to worry
