considered as one but i want options beyond that i like to see all of my options before i buy expensive stuff
You can buy those cheap headsets on Amazon that you put your phone into
no
not talking abt these here
i mean i see i have pico but geetting one where i live is close to impossible
Then quest 2
quest 2 it is
GG @mossy furnace, you just advanced to level 8!
you can also wait for the quest 3
releasing later this year
october - december
nah
tho my bday is in october but im gonna get a razer blade 16`
Dont get laptop
check specs
so i should upgrade my existing one which is totaly fine?
gpu: NVIDIA gtx 1650 super
cpu: Intel i5 10500
ram: 16 GB
mobo:GIGABYTE H410M H
U already have a pc?
here
Still
check it out
Get a new pc
im not even paying for the computer tho
i just want it cuz im moving and space is getting tighter
what does that mean?
Whatever
Yeah
how?
im not gonna detach it from my computer unless im traveling
Ok then
ok
No
so only knuckles
which ill have to drop some real cash where i live just to get the knuckles
and this is why :/
Just upgrade your gpu
no need
Laptops are not only more expensive, but worse in performance, as mobile GPU’s may be named the same, the performance is worse
And you can’t upgrade them, costing more money long term
No it won’t
If you buy a laptop you’re paying more to get less
Then they’re wasting money
i could drop cash on an rtx
With that $4.3k that laptop cost, you could just buy a 4060 for less
And it’ll perform way better
You’ll have more RAM too
There’s no cons to buying a new gpu in this case
but steam said im vr ready too
A 1650 super will get you like 15fps in vr
The steam vr test was made like a decade ago
the con is that im having to waste money
So unless you’re only playing vr games made 10+ years ago, then you can’t play vr smoothly
how was it made a decade ago?
Laptop GPU’s perform worse than their GPU card counterpart
Despite having the same name
Because that’s when steam made it?
Almost a decade ago
Close enough
dr google said it can run most games on normal graphics pretty good
Well I have almost 7 years of tech experience
So idk what im talking about right?
Being a tech expert for like 6.5+ years
no im just saying dr google said so
As well as giving you input from people who do play with a 1650 super
That have only bad experiences
ok then
You’re not going to reach that 120hz, not even close
You’re going to get like 30fps max
ill upgrade to an rtx 2070
30 fps and 60 fps is almost the same
i think my dads friend could get me an offer for real cheap
he is a computer tecnician idk how you write it k?
No it’s not lmao
ALMOST
Not even close
It’s literally half
How about I give you a vr headset with one controller and only one of the screens work
Or I give you half a gaming pc
but i dont really see difference
listen
Also on 30 fps if you move too fast you can see black bars on your sides as you turn
60fps, that not an issue
30fps can make some people motion sick
It can give some people headaches
In some titles you’ll have trouble with things not registering due to the lack of fps, less frames for possible input
im not tryna play in gorilla tag graphics but im not tryna forget im having a headset on
On more demanding titles, the fps will be even worse, making these issues even worse
You want to do something that’s impossible
I’m telling you how to get what you want for as cheap as possible, and you’ll get an even better experience than what you would’ve had without my help, yet you’re refusing my help
If you’re going to ask for help then refuse to listen to everything people tell you, then kindly fuck off
im saying what i was told no need to be so rude
im just saying im not refusing
