#My quest 2 got stuck in a bootloop, factory reseting doesnt work, and i cant get a replacement, help

My quest 2 got stuck in a boot loop, and when I tried factory reseting it (at 100%) it says "erasing" with a circle for a second then, the screen just goes back to the boot loop. And I cant get a replacement because I bought my headset from Amazon since oculus doesn't ship to my country and the Amazon warranty expired. I also tried factory reseting it from the app, but the "headset settings" button isn't working I think it's because the account wasn't linked to my headset, I sent a screenshot below of what I mean (Labeled: Headset Settings Not Working). Is there any way to fix it? Or do I just buy a different headset 😿
Headset Settings Not Working
You have to connect your headset...
What?
Ok but I get notifications whenever my friends are online
Does that not mean my headset's connected?
Ok but I can't connect it now since it's stuck in a boot loop
Is there anything else to do?
Hold the power button for 10 seconds
That's an alternative way to hard reset your headset
Do I have to have it at full charge?
It needs to have some power to be able to do it
Like when it's empty it won't do crap
Ok and if that doesn't work?
Ok let me charge my headset, then get back to you
Is it ok iif I ping u when im done?
GG @sleek grotto, you just advanced to level 1!
How much power does it have rn
Ig
Letting your quest go underneath 20% is rlly bad
Hey
@quaint lotus
So its at 37%
And i tried holsing the power button for 10 seconds
Yeah
Than idk
Do you know anyone who might?
@sleek grotto @ everyone doesn't work
also i have an idea
try letting your headset die, wait 24 hours, then turn it on again
don't charge it until after 24 hours have passed
When its dead?
GG @sleek grotto, you just advanced to level 2!
let it die, wait 24 hours after it dies, charge it to 50% after 24 hours are up
