#SHOULD I SAVE UP FOR VALVE INDEX OR BUY A HP-REVERB
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I don’t want one
GG @nova steeple, you just advanced to level 2!
I tried the quest 2 I have a computer now either answer up reverb or valve index or I’m leaving
The hp reverb is good
If anyone else says quest two I will explain why not
One reason is I do t want a Facebook account
i have a good enough computer and it has good mic good audio and it has a good resolution of 2160 x 2160 lcd panel per eye
i have enough ram good i9
btw the quest two costs 429 dollars and the hp reverb g2 v2 costs 529
100 extra dollars for some better resolution
do the research, we dont know
dont buy the valve index, it breaks like a bitch
dont buy the reverb
its going to get discontinued
Get a quest 2
You don't need one anymore
thats literally almost the same as the quest 2
The quest 2 gets expsenive with all the accessories
maybe someone ain't some rich brat
dumbass
Also why need to be rude man
But valve index has hands
its better
not that much to be honest
What do you want to use the Vr headset, for good quality or you don’t really care and you want a comfortable vr especially for good gaming?
For quality I would recommend Hp reverb, IT HAS SO GOOD QUALITY but Valve index is good for good comfortable and good quality of smoothness and good time in gaming
meta quest pro, it got cut by 33%, only 1000 dollars, and you get self tracked controllers + color passthrough + pancake lenses
and all the other cool features
the valve index fixed the controller problem
so valve index it is
:>
its actually barely better than the quest 2
thats the thing
the screen door effect on is shitr
is there a 2000 dollar headset out there
yeah
valve index is basically play a month, rma. play another month, rma. rinse and repeat until you are out of warranty
what i meant by this is just like raw display
like resolution and refresyh rate
is a little bit better
ik
i was clearing up this
I seriously think the quest pro is a really good option right now
Index is also really good
Boils down to preference
It boils down to what you think is the most important to you
The Index has the best tracking and software compatibility with SteamVR, while lacking in specs and reliability
The Reverb G2 has superb specs for the price and seems quite durable, while having inferior (but still good) tracking and it uses Windows M*xed Reality 🤮
Also take in account that a brand new Index is around 1000€ and a brand new Reverb G2 is like 500€ (I don't know the exact price, it could be less or more but it's still cheaper)
Id rather have quest pro, you get stand alone software, pancake lenses, no severe production issues like index, and self tracked controllers with really good haptic feed back
And the price cut as well
And eye tracking for foveated rendering
save money for valve deckard
$400 + $100 headstrap is $500, still less than a reverb or index
Reverb is getting old and soon to be discontinued, Index has lower resolution than the quest 2, as well as having horrible quality assurance and not having good support which means you’re going to be spending hundreds of dollars on controller replacements if you drop them from even a small height, etc.
Valve Index 2 is also coming out in the future so it would be an even bigger waste of money
