OK, so I guess the 12 core will be good if you do workstation stuff. If you just said you only do gaming, I would recommend the ryzen 7 instead sense it's the same performance in games. Or the ryzen 7 does a bit better sense it's a single Chiplet instead of 2 chiplets.
