I get this when my headset tries to connect to ALVR. I'm using the nightly build. I've attached SteamVR logs but I can't find anything.

i also had another issue where it woulnt connect to steamVR at all

from looking at the errors it just doesnt seem to be able to connect properly to steamVR ?

does alvr require port forwarding? because i have a port forward rule in my router's settings that opens port 9944

AMD FX-4100 Quad Core clocked at 4GHz
16GB DDR3 RAM

my cpu is the biggest bottleneck so i think the more cpu efficient kernel helps

the r9 380 can play most vr games that aren't incredibly intensive

especially with amd fsr

i set the port forward rule to tcp/udp and nothing changed so idk what to do

okay i found out what the issue is

it's with VAAPI

#

VAAPI is crashing for some reason which causes steamvr to crash
