I personally find it easier to just focus on maximizing your limited pairs by looking at where the easy 70k -80k are, do 2 of them and the rest is easy to get your 180k.

Also if you can you’ll wanna invest at least exing a couple of these. I’d say normal Hilda and Gloria are a must.

Mine is not. Tbh it just was trial and error of knowing when to hypnosis, when to potion, and getting lucky on a couple misses at the end.
I’d recommend first turn leer, Evelyn TM, and fire spin center. Then Leaf TM, flame charge anywhere, and Serena TM.
And finally keep leering to lower all the stats of the opponents (attack and special attack mostly), use fire spin and flame charge to make the sync gauge lower.
I started to use Flare blitz into center after the first sync and just hoped for misses. You wanna keep resetting for either swift and a tm on the side, or double tm, anything else and Evelyn just won’t be able to take the hits unless you get really lucky with potion, but then most likely you won’t kill Marrowack in time for its second sync.

All you have to do is keep rolling feathers until you get the Fire theme, and a good roll on Sp Atk or Physical atk on the bandanna or Bracelet respectively

It’s a lot more intuitive once you dive into it

And if you get a generic second perk you’re in business

A good set of skill gear can give you +10-30 in every stat over the base gear, at the cost of the extra speed

So 70 hp 60 offenses and 20 defenses turns into like 100, 70-80, and 35-45

It’s why most of us spend extra stamina on literally just yellow feathers lmao

there's about 24 hours left of the HS event and I suck at team building can someone help me throw together 5 teams for the event pls?? I just wanna hit 180k but not sure if that's possible with my roster

you have anni n, ss morty and tina. 180ks possible.

anni n will prob be used vs kiawe with your roster b/c i dont see any other high value techs to solve that stage.

ssmorty will prob be used on flannery. you might need to ex hilda for one of the 3 strike nukable stages, depending on what your offtype roster is like.

ssmorty + ethan + something i imagine is what people will recommend for flannery

silver, hilda can solve two stages... kiawes prob going to chili cause you wanna debuff his defense...

(admittedly i did move my silver to flannery for sun reliant score pushing but thats cause i had 3 other dps to pass around)

id say marley hilda and tina. hilda wants the bulk anyway and supp exs are a godsend in this event so getting to 4 suppexes sets you up really well

shouldnt be too hard since supports that can survive the stages is the biggest wall here. note that the stages are reset heavy either way due to the abundance of 3mg moves in this event

I really love +1 evasion on that other side. You're confirmed to miss 50% of your attacks

if you see flare blitz, fire blast, brave bird, close combat youre usually resetting on the spot (marley can tank fireblast/flareblitz better with the fire guard grid thankfully, so her stage wont be as heavy over those two moves, but its still fairly heavy)

and youll want to make sure youre burning flint, most of his attacks are physical so fire debuff goes a long way since it lowers physical damage iirc

i ended up using a 3/5 Caked Zygarde Serena on blaine in my clear since i basically was running out of units with my clears, blaines the most likely place people throw an offtype in. 3/5 Articuno Red would be prob better if you have it though.

but my red was only 1/5

i personally played with Adrenaline on her during the event, but fire guard was equally as viable from my experience albeit prob more reset heavy than fire guard. but i was being hit by more fighting than fire anyways where i was using her so

im not sure if Tina is better vs flint or kiawe, Entei goes to the other of the two. more likely tina to flint.

cause i imagine atk debuffs will give you a lot of extra leeway on flint

hilda+kiawe+1 is a pretty high scoring team i heard

Defense Crush 2 also works for pairs with AOE. I used my SS Red that way since he can spam Heat Wave
